On Monday I had a smear test and thought I was roughly mid cycle. We have been ttc for about 3 months. I had a miscarriage at the end of April this year at 10 weeks and have been lucky that my cycle returned and was back to normal very quickly. Anyway back to Monday I had an unbelieveable amount of ewcm. That afternoon (around 2pm) I did a OPK and it was negative. Tuesday was about the same but I didn't do an OPK. Then yesterday evening at around 8pm I did another OPK and it was positive. I have never had a positive on an OPK before but have always tested around 2pm in the afternoon so am wondering if I test too early in the day.
We did the deed, Fri, Tues and last night. Can't tonight as dh is out for the evening so will go for it again tomorrow night.
I know OPK aren't 100% reliable, but with it being positive and ewcm and the fact that I am mid cycle I really want to maximise my chances.

Every other night for a few days around mid cycles should be fine. As you had sex on Tuesday the sperm will still be alive and you have a good chance of concieving.
