ever so faint + result.... anyone else had this?

ok i posted yesterday that my period was late (see EEEKKKK period where are u??) and my period still isnt here today and i was due on a week today, i just took a Clearblue test and the negative line is wy more visable but i can defently see a very faint vertical line behind the negative line. ill test in the monring aswell but has anyone else had this?!

Yes, I did! So faint I thought it was negative, then took another test the next morning and it was a little darker. Still faint but definately there!

i have to really look at the result for me to see the faint line lol but its defently there, i thought it was just my eyes so i left it for a few mins came bk and i can def see the line lol! omg i little nervous now but quite excited!

congratulations, y dont you take a digital one, you defo cant get it wrong then as it tells you pregnant or not. my lines were pretty faint on the 1st test a took but you could see it holding it still holding it a foot away from me, and i was 4 days early at testing 2, did it fri and period wasnt due till tuesday. but i took a digital so soo that i defo knew.

well i tested again this morning and it was negative and my period still isnt here :-/ im so confused! lol! i think i might give it another week, maybe if i am preggers my hormones arent raging enough for the tests to detect them! ill test again next tues/weds if my period still isnt here..... urgh all this waiting is really trying my patience lol

its very strange, normally it shows up after a week but maybe you got pregnant later on in your cycle instead of the middle. what test did you use?

You can have a false negative but not a false positive if you see what I mean. I had a very very faint line - had to hold up to light and ask dh for a second opinion. She's five now .

Well, if your period hasn't arrived then that's a good sign. Did you use the same brand of test that you had already used as some aren't as sensitive as others? Anyway, as you've said, test again in a few days.

omg mollys thats what happened to me lol the negative line was there, clear as day but i swear there was a vertical line behind it, lol it was sooooo faint tho. they were both clearblue tests, i finally told the bf last nite lol his excited but obvously we're trying not to get to excited just incase. but good nws is that my period still isnt here and im getting the mother of all hot flushes the past day or 2! and my boobs omg in the mornings they really hurt and i think they also look abit swollen and im getting very light period cramps which cause me to run to the loo just in case! hehe quite exciting all this! :)

im defently 100% pregnant, done a test about 2 hrs ago and there was 2 lines there, one of them was really really faint but was defently there! haha :) how exciting

Just wanted to post and say I tested yesterday morning and got a very faint positive too!!

Now a little bit worried though, as tested again this morning and although faint line was still there - it was even fainter than the previous day. Should it not be going the other way??? Have already been to Drs and she confirmed I am 5 weeks but still very worried that it could all end before it's begun.

Sorry hijacking thread a bit here but anyone got any advice/suggestions to offer....??

awww thanx everyone! this will be my 2nd bubba, ive got a 3 yr old! it doesnt seem real yet lol but the folic acid is already on the go, its all so exciting!
congrats mrswajs, im not sure how far gone i am, i think 3/4 wks? but im going to get one of those clueblue tests that tell u how far gone u are. im trying to stop myself from getting to excited tryin to wait till after the 3 months!
