Ch- My eldest did that first day of nursery and I spent the whole day convinced he'll be hating me, they'll be evil to him and he'll be wondering where i was to take him away from the nastiness. Got there to collect him and he promptly screamed when he saw me because he did'nt want to leave lol. {{{hugs}}} for you! You're not an evil mum! It'll be great for him.

Coathanger · 06/09/2005 09:59

Thanks HK!

HellKat · 06/09/2005 10:01

CP- Lol at wobbly bits! Know the feeling all to well. I sometimes wish I was chunky again because at least the saggy bits were stretched taut! Now I'm left with a saggy, crepey tum which resembles an empty pouch that looks like it has the road map of the UK across it with all the stretchmarks!

Coathanger · 06/09/2005 10:02

Hey, HK you have just described my tum!!

HellKat · 06/09/2005 10:02

Ch- Anytime hun! First day at school/nursery is always worse on us mums than it is on them!

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 06/09/2005 10:03

When we drive past dds nursery on the days she doesnt go she goes all dramatic on me and reaches out to it with a painful look on her face as we whizz past. She really loves it and stands at the door on mon and wed with her little school bag all ready (and shes only 22 mths!!)

Coathanger · 06/09/2005 10:04

This is better this morning! more of us chatting. Got a bit paranoid yesterday, coz herdly anyone on here. It was so quiet. Nearly started having a convo with my other self again

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 06/09/2005 10:06

HK

My dd sits on my knee facing me and plays with my tum like its a lump of play dough!!And I dont know whats happening to my inner thighs....

Just hope them shorts hold it all in!!

Off for a nice soak in the bath now.dh has taking dd shopping with his dad.

bliss!!

Coathanger · 06/09/2005 10:06

AWw bless her CP. DS3 is 25 months so not much older. Not sure we'll ever see the day when he wants to go to nursery, he's a real mummy's boy...

Lottielou · 06/09/2005 10:07

CH - It is much better, i was starting to get a comlex as we were the only ones on here! lol YAY we have people today! Not that there was anything wring with chatting to you y'day, but you knwim? Arrghhhh, digging hole in the office floor with spade! lol

HellKat · 06/09/2005 10:09

Lol! My inner thighs are ok, just wobble for an hour after touching them! My bums now none existent. Just kind of drops off into nothing lol. My belly though is something else. I've seen better tums on 90 yr old women! Yep CP my little ds2 plays with my "Pudge", loves squishing it lol.

Lottielou · 06/09/2005 10:09

Anyway ladies, i have my client in now so i will catch up with you later! Have a nice day xx

Hello all! Just back from my anniversary travels. DH and I went to Florence! It was Fantastic, I've always want to go, so we decided this year (our second) We'd treat ourselves.

Happy Anniversary Diddle, how was yours? I bet it doesn't seem like a whole year since the big day, it goes so quick.....we'll be celebrating 25 years in a minute!

Tested this morning, BFN, but not due (if that's what you can call it, with irregular af) till Friday so I still have my fingers crossed.

Just about to read down the thread to catch up.

Hello to Coathanger! Hope Baggy still pops in and all is going well.

And big [[[HUGS]]]] to you Lottie.

Now I better catch up in detail. Back in a mo.

Coathanger · 06/09/2005 11:03

Welcome home Strike! Glad you had a lovely time. Quite jealous actually, always fancied Florence (the place, not a female of that name )

I'm sure Baggy is fine

HellKat · 06/09/2005 11:15

Welcome back Strike.
Pmsl CH! Too funny hun.

Coathanger · 06/09/2005 11:26

Got fingers, toes, legs (coz I can at the mo!!) and eyes crossed for you too, Strike. Sorry bout your BFN but I'm praying that it might be too soon Keep us up to date.

Well, HK, I didn't want you thinking I was batting for the other team...not that i've got anything against that...just that it wouldn't be for me...DIG DIG DIG...anyone got a bigger spade?? Oh, LL had one didn't she...

Coathanger · 06/09/2005 11:44

I'm off to get DS3 from nursery now (where has the morning gone?) I hope he hasn't disowned me in the time he had there. Wish me luck!!

strike1 · 06/09/2005 11:47

Blimey there's lots to catch up on.

I'm so sorry PeePee I hope you're taking good care of yourself and letting everyone pamper you.

When's Diddle back from Disney? I'm no good at scary rides myself, I'd just spend all day going round and round on the It's a Small World ride (do they still have that?)

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 06/09/2005 12:32

pmsl

LOVE its a small world. We were on it all the time, my dad who was a bit of a hippy in the 60's said it was better than drugs!!

strike1 · 06/09/2005 12:44

Excellent!! I never thought I was being rock n' Roll, just a bit of a wimp, but now I can claim I was searching for a mind altering experience! (although I went to Disneyland when I was 13, so not so good!)

I've alway fancied Logoland myself, but don't have the nerve to go without children, so if anyone wants to lend a child to me as an excuse to go to legoland, just let me know

Coathanger · 06/09/2005 13:09

Never been to Logoland... but have been to Legoland (sorry ) I would love to go back wihtout the kids - big kid at heart myself!

DS was fine. Cried for about 5 mins then was good as gold. He didn't want to leave - tut! typical!

strike1 · 06/09/2005 13:21

Hmmmmm spelling isn't my thnig

By logoland might be great for marketing people, a chance to test our brand knowledge. Not too much fun for kids though!

Coathanger · 06/09/2005 13:22

LOL! fab idea strike!
