CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 31/08/2005 19:39

Baggybear,great kids,so cute

lottielou, know just how you feeli am so lucky to have dd but since loosing philippa feel like i am on emotional rollercoaster and doesnt help when dh says "i dont know whats up with you these days..!!"

men just dont get it unless its force fed to them.I knew he would not want us to try for another when we lost philippa and heard him saying to people "thats it now,no more" and of course friends and family agreed,"she cant put herself through that again".Thing is with both my pregnancys i had hyperemesis till 20 weeks and quite ill so to loose the baby after going through that seemed double cruel.

i was in a sheer panic on how i would talk him round.Told him that i wanted another baby more than ever and i was pretty obsessed before i had my first. If i am ready to go through the illness and then rsik loosing another he would have to understand.Hes ok about it now but i think he gets a bit tired of my emotional state as I do myself.

baggybear · 31/08/2005 21:18

Thanks everyone for the lovely things you said about my DS's. I think they are fab, hence why I would love another.

I'm not a big telly watcher to bo honest. I like Holby and enjoyed Desperate Midwives when it was on. Oh, and I enjoyed Messiah the at the beginning of the week. But Dont really like watching TV. Am I strange???

Hope you are all well this fine morning. My boys go back to school today so up and about really early this morning - I'll be shattered by 1pm!!

Diddle · 01/09/2005 08:14

Baggybear - wow back to school already, you lucky thing, wish the kids round here were going back, we have another 3 days. Nothing strange about not watching TV, quite normal i think, my mom is just the same, she hardly watches anything, just a couple of favourtie programmes like you. I bet you're too busy to watch TV.

OP posts:
HumphreysCorner · 01/09/2005 08:47

Morning all

Diddle-there is some Christmas wrapping paper on Ebay otherwise wait a week or so as Boots were clearing a space yesterday for Christmas things.

Hope everyone has a lovely day. Gosh-wasn't the thunder and lightening bad last night-didn't help my migraine one bit!

Byee for now
xx

HumphreysCorner · 01/09/2005 08:51

Keep meaning to ask-when I was looking through old messages on various threads some say message deleted for a particular user but not all their messages have been deleted. Why and why only some?

Diddle · 01/09/2005 08:54

Humphreys - thank you very much, can't believe boots are clearing a space already, might wait and see when there's is out, never though of ebay, although they do sell everything.
Thunder and lightening wasn't too bad here in the w.mids, but it has made the air nice and fresh and cool this morning, which is lovely after such hot and sticky mornings we've had.

How are you doing Humphreys? where are you in cycle etc?

Think we're going to have to do what maddyd suggested and put our cycle day and number at the bottom of posts, i am quite curious now about where everyone is.

CD42 cycle 3 since m/c (thought i'd had more AF's than that) bloody messed up cycles.

OP posts:
Diddle · 01/09/2005 08:55

maybe they put something innapropriate or offensive, or illegal

OP posts:
HumphreysCorner · 01/09/2005 09:01

I am CD 6 out of 28 (or 37 last time). Hardly any bleeding today so we could be on for tomorrow onwards . Got to get rid of my migraine first though.

How do you think we should list our days?

Could be 6/28 or CD6/28 but then some list as 6DPO but I never know when I have ovulated as I don't temp. Any ideas?

x

Diddle · 01/09/2005 09:03

I never know when I ov either, Maybe cd187/200? is probably easiest although some of us never know how long our cycle will be and our average goes out the window sometimes, so maybe those people will just ahve to put cd123.

I'm SOOOO angry!!!!! I'm boiling!!!!!!!

Just taken kids to school and noticed a lot of mums looking at me in a funny way, but didn't think much of it. Met another mum walking home(who lives not very far from me) and she says "oo, I hear you're expecting". SHOCK !!!!! Didn't kow what to say and I was so upset I blurted out " I had a miscarriage actually". The other mum of course didn't know what to say. But I asked who told her, bearing in mind nobody but my parents, DH parents and 2 very close 3 very close friends knew in the first place. She said it was another mum at school!!! How the hell did she find out??????!!!!!!! I'm school gossip!!!!!! Now loads of people are going to be asking me when its due, or "i'm sorry to hear blah, blah"!!!!!

OOOO, I'm bubbling...

Diddle · 01/09/2005 09:12

oh baggy - thats awful, i wonder how they know? did your kids know? Oh you must feel so low now. Telling them what happened is sure to shut them up pretty quick, but this is the last thing you need. I would be doing major investigating if it were me.
So sorry you're going through this honey
Go and put the kettle on and let it all out.
