Peanut paranoia

On first month of Clomid and should have ovulated in last three days so we're in the waiting stage. I just devoured a bag of chocolate peanuts! DH is not allergic to nuts but DOES have allergies and ezcema. If I am lucky enough to be in the process of getting pregnant, these peanuts are fine right?

Sorry, what are you worrying about exactly? Foetus becoming allergic to the peanuts? You not getting pg?

Problem with peanuts. I made the mistake of clicking on the conception tab on Mumsnet and one of the comments there was that while getting ready to conceive, you should stop eating peanuts.

I am fully aware of the level of hysteria here but we believe this is at most the third time I've ovulated in 2 years and the first time we've had any idea it was actually happening. I'm undeniably less rational than normal righ tnow.

Frankly, I would think it is a hysteria, as you say. Are there any respectable studies out there that say so?

If not, stop stressing, that'll be much worse.
And best of luck!

thanks.

Ridiculous I know. but first thing I click on was Mumsnet recommendation not to eat them.

I am sane again and just finished off the last of the packet!

[clearly I now feel ill] Grin

It's the newest recommendations that pregnant women do not stop eating peanuts?
