30% chance with FET

Am I mad to even think about putting my heart into this with such low odds.
Any advice about the process would be much appreciated!

Macfi I think 30% chance is actually very high. If you are about to undergo FET I think a positive attitude helps. Actually, I think as you do not have so many drugs sloshing around inyour system it can be good. I have a friend who conceived two children by IVF and one was a fresh cycle and one was a FET so take heart. I think there is also another lady on the assisted conception thread who is pregnant with twins from FET so please do take heart and realise that 30% is pretty good.

Hi macfi, I'm about to under go first IVF cycle and have been given odds of around 50% of it working, my husband was very disappointed with these odds till I said to him that the odds of conceiving naturally each month are only 25 - 30% anyway. So maybe that's the way to look at it, you have as much chance of the FET working as you would if a normal fertile couple would trying naturally.

Good luck, it is so hard isn't it, trying to maintain a positive attitude, but at the same time not getting your hopes up.
