and what symptoms did you have? Was it just a "feeling" or did you get pg symptoms immediately? (is this even possible? When does conception occur exactly?)

Don't know when I ovulated exactly but had sex yesterday on CD19 of an average 33ish day cycle and had had EWCM (but not much, so can't tell if it was building up to ov or not) in the preceeding 4 or so days.
Feel strangely like I might be pg this time. No symptoms apart from a feeling..like fate or destiny or some such bolleaux, like I just know. Now have ever so slight cramps, almost like I really need a wee, but I don't.

I'm mad, aren't I? It's just deluded ramblings, isn't it?

I was bloody nesting at 9 weeks .

luchinka · 02/08/2010 19:23

No nesting here, just this strange feeling I might be up the duff, which I think is probably ridiculous, but it's there all the same.

It is only when I have conceived that I feel the ovulation pain. I have felt it every time.

luchinka · 02/08/2010 19:31

But how can you feel the ovulation pain after conception? I'm confused...wouldn't you have to have ovulated first in order to have conceived? I think I need to brush up on basic biology cos I'm quite confused.

So, let me get this straight in my head...Date wise I would be most likely to have ov'd yesterday... CD19 of a roughly 33 day cycle. I had EWCM before that for about 4 days but not very much. We shagged yesterday, so to be pg I would have to have ov'd yesterday or be about to ov with sperm floating around from yesterday's shag to fertilise the egg, non? Is that right?

I had ovulation pain about 6 weeks in to my pg. It was really bad, so I ended up having to travel out of town and spend the night in hospital so they could check it wasn't ectopic. The A&E Dr who saw me said she'd had the same thing.

Think maybe sometimes the body gets a bit confused and continues to do the normal non pg things.

If you only ov'd yesterday thre is no way you can be pg yet. the egg and sperm have only probably just meet and then it is still a few more days for them(it) to travel down into the womb, where it then has to take. I'd say given that, the very earliest you'd start to get symptoms is in a week, but a lot of those could be in your head (it's okay though, cause if you read a few threads, you'll realise we're all barking mad here, so you're in good company .

Good luck and I hope it's a case of sperm meets egg for you

Thanks NoMore I know I'm imagining it really . I've no idea but probably ov'd before yesterday and was away the few days before that so no shagging, so in all likelihood missed the boat this month.

Will try to stop thinking too hard and wait til AF is due.
