Subject says it all really. I've never noticed it before & wondered if anyone could give me ideas of what I should be looking out for!

for me it feels like someone has stabbed me in the ovary area with a screw driver. has me doubled up in pain for minutes at a time sometimes.

Hi bamboo, does it almost feel like stitch pain? I had that an thought it might be ov pain so we got to it as soon as we got home that evening (tmi sorry!) but im not sure if it was ovulation or not! Didn't last long at all maybe 30 seconds max a minute but then if we only did it a few hrs after the pain that might have been too late!??!!?

hmmm... so not a dull ache which has lasted all evening? (what I've got atm)

I don't think everyone gets pain around ovulation. Why not just buy some ovulation sticks from Boots? Only use them when you think you're ovulating (they're not cheap). Look out for mucous changes & then do the test - you pee on them like PT sticks in case you weren't aware.

Thanks MissB but I already have a CBFM, I was just wondering if I was having O 'pain' & just not noticing it!

I have awful ovulation pains and they can last for an hour if I don't take painkillers as soon as they start. The pain will start mildly on one side or the other and then progresses into a sharp stabbing pain in the pelvic area.

I don't know if there are varying degrees of pain during ovulation but in my experience, if you were experiencing it then you'd know about it.
