I am a bit baffled this month.Always had a 28 day cycle and concieved dd on cd 13 and 2nd preg that ended in stillbirth at 25 weeks also on cd13.

After loss have ttc and repeated tried and tested day 13 1st month only for af to arrive on 31 days.Did ov tests 2nd month and got result day 17 (also clear and stretchy cm then af arrived 33 days.

This month started testing day 14 and no result and no clear and stretchy to date.Had a few twinges over last two days in the ovary area but dont know whats going on.Have I ovulated and missed it or is it yet to come? I must add that aside from ov tests I can usually tell by cm but this month nothing.

Whats the latest anyone has ovulated?

you can OV late and also your hormones can change after a pregnancy. How long have you been TTC? Clear, stretchy CM is the best indication that you are about to OV.

hi i had cycle of 35 days after my third mc. I conceived on cd 20 with this baby. Have you thought about using clearblue digi ov tests? Thats what i used and a few friends have and all caught first month of using them.
good luck

Thanks

Got all clear to try again in June.I am frustrated as it happened so quickly earlier.

I am using sticks from Fertility.com. but to be honest I agree about cm (tmi to follow)and mine was yellow/thick after af then dry since so dont know whats going on.Hoping that I have time left this month..

doesn't matter when you ovulate as long as there's a minimum of 10 days between ovulation and next period

remember ovulating day 14 is an average (statistics)

I used to ov day 23 if that helps

I suppose if my cycle lengthens each time as it has been there is time yet

Oh I do hope so

Hiya, my ovulation day moved to later in my cycle after having dd. I now normally ovulate on cd 18 of 26 day cycle, so am classed as suffering from a luteal phase defect (8 days). I'm starting infertility tests this week as we have been ttc for 10 cycles now & think this might be the reason why it's not happening for us. I found opk's & temping the best way of working out my ov date. Without this I wouldn't have known I had a LP defect. However, this month I ovulated a couple of days earlier than normal - I think the vit B6 & agnus castus supplements might have started working . HTH, Iona

luteal phase is just the name of the time between ovulation and start of next period

if its less than 10 days then there's a defect that needs addressing because you need those 10 days (8 sometimes, but 10 to be sure) for the embryo to implant in the womb .. without that length of time the egg can be fertilised but the womb lining would already have begun to shed before the embryo implants making pregnancy impossible
