I've been testing from 10DPO and am now 14DPO and still negative, so am I out of the game? My period is late but no BFP. When does my glimmer of hope run out?

Oh - I also need to know this. No idea when I OV'd as not TTC at the moment but I am secretly hoping for a "happy accident" Today I'm on CD33 (UCL 29/30) I did a First Response test yesterday lunchtime but it was negative. Resisted doing a test with my FMU today but am going to try again on Friday if there is no sign of AF.
Fingers crossed, although that will involve me then trying to convince DH that it really wasn't planned!!!(it wasn't)

These are some stats I have seen on here before:

"The percentages of those who get their BFPs on set dpo are as follows:
10dpo=35%
11dpo=51%
12dpo=62%
13dpo=68%
14dpo=74%
15dpo=80%
16dpo=88%
17dpo=92%
an d there are some who have not got their BFP until 21dpo "

So at 14DPO you are definitely not out of the running. Is your period late, or not yet?

Ah sorry, you said it is. Anyhow, have a look on your tests and see how sensitive they are. They start at 10miu of HCG and go up to about 50 ish. If you're using a less sensitive one it will take longer to get a BFP.
