and im back....

blue how is the cold now? Envy at you superduper long lie in and at the pom pom hat. I might have to get something special for our christmas trip home...although Dolly's head is so small she would probably topple over due to the pom pom being bigger Grin
Re the nap thing, i put her in her cot awake for naps..as soon as i see the signs and she starts to grizzle up she goes! We are down to 10 mins of moaning, not crying for her day naps...she still needs to be put down and patted but not for so long. The night time she is fed and is very drowsy when put in her cot. So i guess im going half and half Hmm
I decided to follow what you said about not feeding her if less than 4 hours had passed and the other night she woke at 9.30 after 2 hours. We cc for 40 mins and she went back to sleep...until 3.40!!! which means the little monkey can go 8 hours without a fed. We are down to 2 wakes up's which if it continues for the next week i will try to start dropping a feed and then hopefully drop the second in time for our trip home at christmas...which means im free to go out and get pissed have sophfisicated drinks with friends

neeko yeah for H getting a tooth...still none here but im sure i can see one sometimes, but other times not Hmm Was it really dreadful? I stocked up on the teething powders and gels when i came home so im all prepared. The doctor at the hospital recommend vit d drops while they are teething...not sure why but im going this afternoon so will ask then. As for Dolly we bought her this and dh has fixed the wheels so they are stiff. She can take a few steps on her own wheeling it also she can climb the stairs and now she has learnt to get out of the house! Shock Its cooler now so we can leave the patio like door open, dh and i were cleaning while dolly was playing (we were watching) and suddenly she did a super fast crawl right out of the door and made her way into the garden! We also have a pic of her standing one handed at the door looking out, super cute. Ill try to send it to you. So in all she is still going strong....
Thinking of you on monday, hope m has a fab birthday...oh and finally i love your pictures!

sabs i hope you are calm and relaxed and enjoying your hols! Lovely works re the thread. We are a great bunch arent we Wink oh and you would laugh at dolly, im sure we have confuzzled her by giving her an arabic middle name, she wakes for the first call to prayer (4.10am yawn!) and yesterday she said 'allah' Grin

louey sorry to hear you are having a stressful week, i hope isaac's schooling problems sort out soon for you. Keep up the good work though, you are truly supermum by doing everything you are doing..i can just about manage to shower by 10am most days! Grin

cupcake how fellow sleep deprived mummy...i was going to say it gets better soon but i cant honestly say that Grin However the days all go into one and by the time 6 months arrived you wont be able to count every single crap night! Hope it ends soon for you (and your wee man doesnt take notes from Dolly!) Happy holidays!!!

4ever glad the jags went ok, do you take her? Im still too scared and make dh take her! Re things to do with Summer, google time out london, the kids version and they list plenty of family days out suitable for all ages. I loved bushy park when we were in kingston. Im sure Summer loves whatever you do with her. Has she been swimming again? Dolly had her second lesson and they swam under water Shock the instructor took her off me and made everyone watch as she dunked her under and walked around with her under water, my heart nearly stopped, i was shaking and had a few tears (stupid arent i) i was so scared! But she did it and came up a bit dazed but ok. Next week we are taking under water camera's, i really want a nirvana type shot of her.

vjay i think my scales are broken, i had only a small bar of chocolate yesterday as opposed to a bigger one and i still didnt lose any weight Wink Im going to get back on it this weekend, ive been too tired for the wii but i look like dolly parton only loads fatter in the swimming photos (32ff boobs getting in the way of every shot!) We will be skinny! Oh and my hair is think too, and im a leftie!

mermaid i was thinking about you at 3am this morning, hope you are ok...healthy and happy x

lbm i forgot to say well done on leaving Jojo at nursery, was it bad the first time? Im only asking cos im going back to work for 2 hours a week and im dreading it. (get a grip women, its only 2 bloody hours!) i hope your cold doesnt linger and the kids behave for you.

mls ohhhhh nearly there love! You do need to calm down though, your post made me all flustered for you! The painting can wait, relax, give S to your neighbour for another trail run Wink sit back, read and enjoy your birthday cd thingy.

Love to everyone else, im exhausted, we were up playing at 4.30 this morning Hmm and she has only just gone back hence the post from me....happy weekend all xxx

Joolsiam · 25/09/2010 14:42

Hello - remember me !! Blush

I fully intended popping back in after our meet-up, but I still struggle a bit with posting here - all my emotions are locked up so tight, opening up the box and writing anything seems a little daunting sometimes ..

I must confess I nearly walked past the restaurant the other week - was really nervous about how I would react to being around so many babies - but it was fine :) Curlygirl obviously decided she was going to look after me Grin and when I was feeling a little bereft at being in a photo and the only one not holding a baby, Sabs lent me Sara Grin So lovely to meet everyone and I hope we do it again soon.

Monkey and Moon - you are in my thoughts. I'm just plodding along really - almost completely off my a/d's, getting back to the gym and trying to reduce work down to more manageable hours. Joined Weightwatchers online today - I guess that means I have to weight myself - that will depress me !

CD5 here - a lot of months, there we just have total BD failure, so there aren't many 2 week waits to obsess over. Off on hols on Oct 7th - to Sorrento, and looking forward to some warm weather.

I may not say a lot, but I do pop in from time to time to check on you all :)

cupcakefairy · 25/09/2010 18:58

Hi jools :) so great u are nearly off the ads, brave lady. have a fab well earned holiday! at curlygirl looking after you!

barbie i had been feeding j to sleep at bedtime til last wk when decided should put him down awake Confused takes about 40mins of pupd, shh pat & a bit of sucking my little finger for him to drift off at mo & we're still getting the 10pm wake but hoping it improves! certainly hope i can maintain my sense of humour like you! lol at dolly's super fast crawl Grin

had first bikini wax post birth today & sure it hurt more! aren't i supposed to be invincible now after that labour agony? Grin

Bought scales today to weigh our holiday cases.. have just weighed myself & 11lbs lost since 2 mnths ago Smile still 13 to go to get to pre preg weight & sure those won't come off as easily!

VJay · 26/09/2010 15:05

Oh jools my heart goes out to you it really does. It took a lot of courage for you to meet up with a bunch of weebles you've never met in rl before, knowing they all had babies/bum. But you did it, which goes to prove what a strong lady you are.
I remember you from our June '08 antenatal thread, I wasn't on it long and I remember popping in and then seeing what had happened to you and letting you know about this place, and I'm so glad I did, you have brought so much to this thread, and I would really love to continue to support you, so please stick around.

As for the diet I have eaten far too many Biscuit's, and I need some motivation to get me back on track. Being a sahm means I'm doing so much more homebaking, and then bloddy eating the stuff....HELP.....Grin

BlueMoon1981 · 26/09/2010 18:46

jools i think you have so much guts and determination to meet up with the girls, it was a very brave thing to do, and can completely understand you almost walking past. no matter how much you think you are ok, some of those feelings wont ever go away til you are a mummy, and to keep it together like you did shows you are far more with it than you probably know. also well done for beating the a/ds. onwards and upwards lovely lady :)

mermaidspurse · 26/09/2010 21:21

jools love you, I looked at that lovely photo of you all and my heart so went out to you. We have all writen so many words over the last 2 years exactly that I have been an emmsyShock
Wished I could have been there too to give you a massive hug in person. And noone deserves a fab holiday more than you at the moment, so if I don't 'see' you have a fantastic time.x

vjay if it helps I have just put a whole bin bag of clothes that I have finally admited will never fit me again out for ebaying/rags/second hand shop.
But the good bit is I now have a large empty drawer/ wardrobe to put new clothes inSmile

I reckon - hope desperately that home baking aka cakes is much better for you than all that processed crap so all good things in slight moderationSmile

moon have you picked a date yet lovely?

sabs sorry I missed you, can't believe a year has flown for you and a massive happy birthday to our first virtual niece.xx

oh and barbie well done on the c/c you are doing ace, high five.x

BlueMoon1981 · 26/09/2010 21:59

hi mermaid hope you are ok, you didnt tell us how you are doing? big hugs in case you need them :)

oh yes i forgot to tell you all about the wedding, well, we had a slight change of plan, we were all set to go and book it, and at the last minute decided it was too expensive and we'd look somewhere else. i don't want to go overboard as we really dont have the money, and i'd rather spend more on a holiday afterwards. i said to df Grin i'd marry him anywhere if it meant we get married sooner, and while i said didnt want a registry office wedding, it doesnt matter does it, what matters is getting married, having all our friends and family around us and having a good time.

hope everyone else is ok xxxx

barbie1 · 27/09/2010 11:26

ive dropped off the threads im on Shock will be back later to catch up x

QuestionsAgain · 27/09/2010 12:42

I have just checked back in and had to go hunting the thread out, as like Barbie, I have lost you all on the threads I am on Shock

I am so rubbish, I check in quite often to see how you are all getting on, but just haven't been up to posting. Health still dodgy and no further forward Sad

Couldn't post without giving monkey a hug for tomorrow. Will be thinking of you x

moon it is the being married that is the most important, how you do it is up to you, having a good time is the best starting point for any plans Grin

jools it does sound as though you are doing really well, a holiday is well earned, make sure you make the most of it.

A big hello to everyone else and smiles to all those lovely babies Smile

bluesatinsash · 27/09/2010 14:20

Hi guys

Lots of shoulder to shoulder support needed this week...

monkey - my heart is breaking for you, I knew your EDD was soon but didn't realise it was tomorrow Sad. Hope you felt better writing it down and sharing it with us. Your words were so raw and honest and I really hope you get comfort visiting him tomorrow with your windmill, may all our angels be keeping him company up there and looking down on us all xxx

Moon - yes weddings are fantastic but being married is the best bit and much more important than any ice sculpture/co-ordinated favours and invites etc. Absolutely keep your money for a fabulous holiday you and your DF can talk about for years (and maybe have a honeymoon baby...)

Jools - also admire your strength going to the meet up. Enjoy your hols x

QA - feeling for you in limbo land too, really hope it gets resolved for you x

Mermaid - always Smile when you post again as don't like it when your go MIA for a few days... We need to start bringing the winter weight duvets into the greenhouse and switching the rose wine for Bailey's and mulled wine.

Love to everyone else xx

mermaidspurse · 27/09/2010 14:59

baileys yes yes yes!

moon in short it's all a bit shit which is why I don't say anything but whitter on but the sun is out and it's skate night and everything is ticking along. Some bad days and some awful days and then some quite nice ones too.

and as lovely blue says it doesn't matter how you tie the knot just that you love each other lots. Mine cost under £500 and it's our 10th anniversary next year.

qa am so hoping that your opp. happens soon cos it feels like an age for us let alone you.

monkey I think we wil all be with you in spirit all through tomorrow.xxx

4everhopeful · 27/09/2010 16:39

Had to just pop in, cos need to say to Monkey that all our hearts are consecutively breaking in unison with you tomorrow my poor lovely lady... Taking it back to how this thread was first named when so many of us joined 2yrs ago this month, support for mummies of lost angels.. Sad Its so sad, and so unfair what happened to you, and your poor little boy will never be forgotten. Please let us be there for you through this very sad time, I hope you find some peace at your little ones memorial gardens and as the wind blows through his windmill, take comfort that his spirit is never far away from you, and I'm sure his Nanny is up there looking after him... HUGE hugs and hand holds going out to you... X

Neeko also remembering your LLO's would of been birthday today, but hoping that M's birthday has shone a light over the day.. Give H an extra cuddle or 3 too... Wink

I lit a candle for my 2nd LLO's would of been 2nd birthday yesterday too, I hope all our angel babies are up there together united by our friendships.. Smile

Jools I so admire your honesty and bravery, and as I said I really felt your anxiety with you at our meet up and felt really sad for you, but was also so aware, at my low points when I wondered if my dream would ever come true, that I hated pity, so at the lunch, part of me really wanted to ask if you were ok and give you a huge hug, but didnt want to open a raw wound that I know you were probably desperately trying to keep well dressed... Im glad you are feeling strong enough to reduce the Ads, that is a massive step.. I pray that this holiday will be the relaxing environment you and DP need to get your much deserved wish lovely brave lady.. X

Mermaid another brave lady who I admire so greatly and love to bits, Im so pleased to see your posts! Grin I worry when we dont hear from you for a while cos I know have probably been struggling, I know you dont like to talk about it much but am I right in thinking another edd is approaching for you in a month or 2 too? Its just so bloody unfair. If I only had a magic wand and some wings eh? Alas for now, I shall just have to suffice with a litre bottle of Baileys!Wink Hot coffee with Baileys top anyone?

Moon really nice to see you popping back in too sweetheart.. Smile I agree with everyone else, its the marriage that matters not the wedding! Deffo go somewhere amazing for your honeymoon and hopefully the paradise stork will be paying you that visit! Think your doing great with the horridness of being surrounded by preg ladies, was sheer hell for me just over a year ago facing 3 of them at work..

QA feeling for you too hon, so hard to want this so bad and have to put it on hold, wishing you good health and some much needed happiness asap...

Sabs another one you reduced to tears here with your beautifully eloquent summing up of our wonderful thread.. You totally hit the nail on the head on every count, It was like you wrote that obo each and every one of us.. You also gave inspiration, like lovely Vjay that a good outcome can happen, our very special first 2 graduates both turning one is just amazing really when you think about it! Grin

How are you feeling now Blue? Better I hope? Hugs to your beauiful boys, do they have matching pom poms?! Grin

Cupcake im Envy at your weightloss! Well done girl! I was crapping it about my first wax too after the stitches and all! Need another one actually! TMI! Grin Hows Summers lil cyber cousin doing? S is now fully rolling over and desperately trying to sit up! Shock

Barbie I used to go Bushey park all the time as a kid, I was born in Kingston! Grin We havent taken S swimming again yet but did buy an underwater camera the first time, though as it had no flash, all the pics came out dark! Hmm Bet your heart was in your mouth when they dunked Dolly! Shock they do that at aquatots here and its put me off enrolling her! Talking of swimming, I relented and got bikinis one size up from the Next sale at the weekend ready for our hol next year!

LBM has Jo jo been back to nursery again this week? When do you go back to work? Forgot to say well done on the weight loss too! Ive been doing my exercises everyday to try and shift a few pounds for the christening but have also cheated invested in some spanx! Grin

Finally MLS how you getting on? Im hoping to win your sweepstake now you have had your hair done and are more or less ready! Grin

Right must go, want to be all ready when DH gets in from work, as one of his childhood cats at his mums had to be put to sleep today from a big tumour.. Sad He left work in his lunch so he could go and say goodbye but they had already buried her in their garden.. Sad I want to be at the door to greet him with a big hug and a cold beer... X

mermaid sorry things are crap, but glad that mixed in the big pile of crapness are some good days too :)

thank you everyone for your thoughts on the wedding, i agree with all of you, i guess i was (stupidly) trying to impress other people and (selfishly) have the wedding that id love, but when it comes down to it, i just want to get married and show df how much i love him. of course if we win the lottery i will change my mind! going to have a look round at our new venue on sunday :)

one day i will do a proper post to everyone, i feel Blush that i cant keep up with you all.

monkeybumsmum · 27/09/2010 20:17

Girls, you are all just so lovely. Thank you. Have been reading through all your messages with tears in my eyes. No-one else could possibly understand how it feels, but you all do. So, so sad that we have all had to have our hearts broken this way. 4ever Thank you for the image of my little boy with his Granny. I hope that is the case.

Didn't I read the other day that today was an anniversary for you too Vjay or maybe I'm getting confused? I have been thinking of you today anyway, and apologies if I've got it wrong Blush

Moon Wherever and however you get married it will truly be the most wonderful day, and you will remember it as one of the best days of your life Smile We were lucky enough to have a pretty big wedding, but tbh, the thought that brings me most joy now is thinking about how amazing it was to say my vows to dh, and how absolutely in love we were (and still are Blush). I can still remember that feeling, standing there facing him, filled with so much happiness I could burst. The rest of the day we were just floating on air, and could have been anywhere! (Don't tell my dad - he paid for it!) Good luck planning your special day, and don't forget - if you need opinions/advice then you know where we are Grin

Jools I too felt for you when I saw that lovely picture, you are just so strong. I'm so glad that you enjoyed yourself, and I really hope that at the next meetup we all get to meet you too Smile

So sorry - ds is calling so must go... Will be thinking of you all tomorrow, and how lovely you are. Sorry for not getting to write all I wanted - will try to come back later!!! xxx

cupcakefairy · 27/09/2010 20:37

Lol moon I know I could NEVER have let dh plan our wedding alone! He didn't even know I'd have wanted someone to come to the house to do my hair! Shock Beats me why these girls let their dfs do it! (A couple of weeks ago our wedding venue was featured on it though; I was stupidly excited Grin)
Hope visiting your new venue goes well.

monkey such lovely words about your wedding. And no need to be Blush about how in love you still are that's soooo lovely. I am completely obsessed with my dh too & more in love every day :)

Right, must stop procrastinating and get on with ironing for the holiday Hmm

VJay · 27/09/2010 20:43

Hello lovely weebles, a much more chilled MLS tonight. Painting is finished, as is Baby Whisperer book, hair is trimmed & coloured, dd had her dinner at my neighbours house on Friday as a trial run which went very well & she has got two of the up & coming parties out of the way which means only another two more to get through enjoy next week.

Monkey my heart is aching for you & I will be sending you positive thoughts for tomorrow. God knows how you have managed to get through this year but you are very strong (even though sometimes you must feel like simply sinking to the floor & weeping) & things will start going your way soon. Did you go to your gp about the possibility of your endo returning?

Jools I'm with the others on how glad I was that you came to our meet-up & it must have taken some guts. I wish I had a magic wand & could wave it over your dp - at least to give you some hope every month instead of all these months of bd failure. Sad

Moon planning a wedding can be such a pita as of course you just want things for you & your df but inevitably (as with all weddings) you end up having to plan things around other people & what would make them happy. I still think the most romantic way to do it would be to just elope! Grin

Neeko please please please post some of the pics of your dd1's party
