Just wanted to say about the cough mixture - I used boots Nirolex - for chesty coughs. You just have to make sure that the ONLY active ingrediant is Guaifenesin. Dont get one for a blocked nose as it will containe pseudoephidrine (sp?) and that DRIES up secretions - clearly not what is wanted! I took 2 teaspoons twice a day about 5 days in the run up to OV. I did notice an increase in CM - I don't really have a lot, so it was easy for me to notice it. If it works or not is anyones guess - but now I am up duffed I recommend giving it a go!

Well I am properly turning into a fatty (no surprise due to luxury cookie consumption) and have so far put about 1/2 a stone......but there are 2 beans in there, thats my excuse! Booked in with Bereavement Midwife (BM) yesterday, and ladies if you have access through your antenatal care to one please enquire already mine has been a godsend and she really put me at ease yesterday. Lots of hurdles still to jump for me though......the due date for my MMC is this coming Wed and I also turn 10 weeks which is when I started bleeding with DD2 :( ..........but I have 2nd trim loss consultant appoint next week together with BM which will help. Right enough of me......

Lottie Viv is the cough medicine queen.......she has mentioned which brands before if you feel like scrolling back I am sure she will pop in at some point and let you know though.

lottie - I think it was Robitussin (sp?) which you can get from Amazon for about £3.99, but the main thing is that the only active ingredient is guaifenesin, which I think is also the case with Sainsburys own brand but at about half the price and no postage costs. Have not tried it myself though so please someone correct me if I'm wrong!

I ordered some yesterday so will see how it goes. LucyS I'm having similar trouble. Was convinced I was about to OV, peed on an OPK this morning - negative and EWCM promptly disappears without trace. What else can I expect on the WTF cycle i guess. Its just as well really since i'm waiting and was getting tempted.

Hope you're all having a nice evening! I'm having a chilled out at home which is v nice. Have developed extreme envy though - am watching grand designs and they have built a beautiful lochside house but more to the point they've got 2 children and one on the way :-( I'm perfectly happy in my little terrace but am v. jealous of their family. Hmmmm sounds ridiculous now I've actually written it down :-(

thanks Moof for sending info to lottie - just to say you should use it in 2nd half of cycle, once you know you've ovulated (otherwise it can interrupt ov), then you use twice a day until you get to CD1... if you get a BFP you use until you are 12 weeks. I'm not really a great advert for it :(.... (only started on last pg) but many swear by it.

PFF - just saw that GD too. Amazing location. Not ridiculous to feel like that; some families do seem to grow without drama, though not many sadly.

lottie if you want to add anything else to your shopping list, this month I've taken evening primrose oil capsules for the two weeks up to ov, and both DH & I have been on zinc capsules too. In addition to the Boots cough medicine that Battery mentioned, the grapefruit juice and brazil nuts...

hairy - think you might have teasted too early, and to be honest I do not rate first response. The most sensitive one I think is super drug.

When I MC - the hospital said to me that my urine test was negative, but I had done a superdrug one that morning and was still positive, so I think they are more sensitive than the ones the hospital used xx don't lose faith till AF arrives xx

The funny sensory suprises have stopped.
I don't feel particularly psychotic, in fact I feel like I've swallowed the Little Book Of Calm.
Don't know how long it will last for though.
