V early MC or late AF?

Wondered if anyone had any experience of/thoughts on this...I am normally a very regular 24/25 day cycle. We've been TTC for a few months now with no success, first couple of months Af arrived bang on time on day 24. This month and last month it hasn't appeared until day 31 which is mentally late for me. In the week or so between CD24 and 31 I have felt terrible, with a range of symptoms which could be interpreted as the run up to AF or early pg symptoms, depending on how optimistic I was feeling at the time!

This month especially, when AF arrived on day 31, it has been very very heavy and clotty, quite different in appearance (sorry TMI) to normal AF.

So is it just a late period or could these be very early mcs?

My main concern, if they were mcs, and I don't really know how to word this delicately I'm sorry, is...will everything come out ok? I know it can be an issue in later mcs if not all the tissue etc comes out - should I worry about this or will my body take care of itself in this respect? has anyone had this happen?

Thanks!

Thanks kalo12. I'm not 100% sure if it was a loss iyswim...luckily I had not tested, I would maybe feel differently if I'd seen a BFP. But it is vERY unusual for me to be so late.

I have a 2.5yr dd so know that we can conceive at least, but never had anything like this when TTC her.
