Anyone ever got pg with an AMH of 0.7?

AMH measured at 0.7 at the start of the year and was advised that my only prospect of becoming pg was by handing over large sums of money.

I'm 47 with regular cycles and currently at CD23 and have been vomiting for the last 4 days, tender boobs, backache and that feeling you are about to come on at any second but no sign of AF.

I had my DC1 two months shy of 45 conceived entirely naturally (and unexpectedly).

Does anyone know of anyone getting pg in this situation or is this the onset of menopausal symptoms?

Perhaps I should add that I had just accepted my infertility and moved on rather than going down the assisted conception route.

Thanks Jollster for the FX. If it is DC2 it couldn't be happening at a worse time but if it's not I just wish the change would just hurry up and bring an end to the uncertainty

if you're still having regular cycles you're a way away from the end I'd have thought? Keep us posted.

Saw GP today who said it was either gastritis or pregnancy. His hunch was pg and has given me anti vomiting tablets to overcome the worsening sickness. He told me to work on the basis that I am pg and to take folic acid and avoid alcohol and all the other usual stuff like soft cheese.He has advised that it can be 2 weeks after a missed period before there are sufficient hormones for a positive result and suggested that I wait until I am a week late (i.e. 11 days from now) before testing.

He said not to take too much notice of the AMH result as it is an inexact science and there will always be cases of people with low scores who go on to get pg naturally.

DH is fluctuating between telling me not to get too excited and developing plans for making our fortunes selling his potentially miraculous bodily fluids .

Feeling pretty calm and avoiding POS. Will let you know if there is good news to share on the 40s thread.

Looks like it was gastritis. AF appeared 2 days early along with man flu. Seems the consultant was right about me being infertile after all. Thanks everyone for your good wishes they were appreciated.
