Hi all am new here so bear with me on language,

My partner and i have been ttc for 2 1/2 years now.

I was diagnosed with pcos and endometriosis 2009. My gyn put me on 3 months of clomid 100mg where i ov but didnt conceive.

I had a lap and dye in feb 2010 where they discovered i had clear tubes (one saving grace). They also drilled my ovararies and cut away my endometriosis.

I am currently on my second round of clomid 50mg and am doing the merry dance of am i arent i not pregnant. I am slightly late but nothing to write home about yet!

Just wanted to chat to anyone really experiencing the same or any clomid sucess cause all us clomid girls all love them!

Look forward to some chat
Nic

Hi,
I know the feeling. I am day 28 (I think, am working nightshifts this week so barely know what day of the week it is) of my cycle after my first round of clomid, but don't have regular periods due to PCOS anyway. My doctor told me to wait 5 weeks from day 1, then do a pregnancy test so that will be next week.
There is a thread on here called clomid success stories with friendly people in the same situation as well as lots of successes.

Hi, thanks for replying

I'm on day 30 now so were really the same im not testing till next week either.

My periods irregular also but because i had follical tracking i know when i ov so its even more frustrating cause im starting to believe im pregnant but may well not be. Are you having the follicle tracking done as well?

Maybe its a good thing your keeping busy working nights, not knowing what day it is is surely better then counting days all the time.

Thanks i'll check that thread out

I've not had follicle tracking. What does that involve? I've not had anything really. Had an appointment at the hospital in June where he just asked questions and decided I have PCOS and prescribed meds. Should have had day 2 and day 21 blood tests in first cycle but was on holiday on both dates. Have been referred for a 'dye test'. Can't remember the proper name of it.

Maybe it's true about keeping busy and not thinking about it all the time. Am moving house at the weekend so still no time to think about it!

Fingers crossed for both of us for next week.

Ive been having follicle tracking ever since i've took clomid, every month around ovulation time. Its basically a ultra sound where they can look at your ovararies and see if you have any mature follicles. They measure the mature ones/one then they can roughly work out when your going to ovulate or if you going to ov at all that month.
As you prob know having pcos our follicles dont mature cause of the cysts that grow on them therefore causing us problems when ov thats why clomid is such a good drug for us as it helps mature the follicles.

When i took clomid for the first 3 months last year i never ovulated the 1st month but did the second and third. They seem to think that sometimes your body goes into shock the 1st time then kicks in after that. You might want to bare that in mind, having said that though loads of people conceive first time on it.

I also have found that it regulates your period when your on it so thats even more hopeful for us this month as we are both at the time of missing our periods

Yeah fingers crossed for us both next week
Stay busy im not busy at the mo and im driving myself insane!!
Good luck with move you know what they say New house new... you know what!!! I won't jinx it!
