BFP but still spotting!

Help!

I have been TTC for a few months and always have 2/3 days brown spotting before my period starts. This spotting always starts 9DPO like clockwork. I did see my GP about this and she was not concerned in the slightest

Anyway, this spotting did not arrive 9 DPO this month so I though that maybe it was good news. I then got the spotting (brown) on the day my period would be due which was Friday. This spotting has lasted all weekend so took a test on Monday on the off-change and lo-and-behold its a BFP. I did another test today and that was also positive. But my question is, why am I still spotting? I also have cramps like AF is about to arrive. I'm just scared and dont want to feel happy about a BFP just incase....

Has this happened to anyone else?

I had spotting before my BFP and then it continued for a couple of weeks. It was very light, pale brown, and often more like coloured mucky mucus.

This is my fourth pg, have one DS, then 2 MMCs. Have never had spotting like this before. Am now 8+1 weeks, and the spotting has stopped.

It can be just old mucky stuff being expelled. The cramps can just be the uterus stretching or implantation pains. BUT I know how worrying it feels.

Sadly early pregnancy can be full of worries and concerns particularly if you have had previous MCs (with my DS I didn't worry about anything!!).

What colour/how heavy is the spotting?

It sounds much the same as yours. It seems to come more in the morning like a medium flow CM. It almost disappears in the evening.

Your mind just goes crazy doesn't it! This is my first ever pregnancy but I am the worrying kind!

Got doctors tomorrow so just going to keep rubbing my luck charm
