I'm on CD12 today, and I think I've had today what may be ovulation pains. Although, I'm not 100% sure as in my 31 years being on this planet I've never had them (or at least noticed them), so I'm pretty excited!

I started getting stabbing type twinges at about 10am this morn on my left side, which lasted a few minutes, then they eased off (at one point it actually made me jump a bit). They started up again this afternoon, then stopped, and they are happening again now.
They arent painful, just an achey feeling.

Can you decribe your ov pains to me. Where abouts do you get them? (how far down/left/right etc)

What does this mean? DH isn't home until 10pm, could I have missed the window if I started getting pains this morning?

I've been getting ovulation pains for years and years. They are pretty much as you have described although some months I'll have a fairly constant achy pain for up to 2 days and other months I don't feel a thing. I'd say they occur about half way down my hip bone.

As long as you can get some good shagging in tonight you should still be able to catch it. Although please don't blame me if you don't get pg this month!

Personally I've often found these pains to be kind of annoying due to the discomfort, but I've always liked knowing that my bit work! How exciting for you to know you're working too.

Have fun ;)
