Hi all - just wondering if I'm going nuts but all day I've been feeling flutterings in my lower abdomen - sure feels like baby movements however no other signs other than a few weeks ago I did seem to have to go for a wee very often. Dont feel sick, boobs feel normal, just this weird bubble popping sensation feels just like I did with my other 2 children. I have been having periods although quite light but I never keep track of their dates. Also I have a copper coil fitted since my DS was born in 06 and no problems with it - I can still feel the threads. Guess i'll be off to get a test kit tomorrow, going to feel very silly when it comes back neg!! Is it possible to be my age and pregnant with the coil in place????

If you're still having periods then yes, there is a slim chance of getting preggers with a coil!

Will do a test tomorrow, belly still fluttering like mad, just trying to think what else it might be and if by some hugely remote chance I get a positive test how far along I would be, I thought you werent supposed to feel anything til at least wk14! Been on a bit of a diet for a month and not getting thinner......another reason to think preggers?

Ohh let us know the results!

MissLily · 16/07/2010 12:37

Well did the test with trepidation and phew, it's negative. Gave myself a scare tho and still got a twitchy feelings in my belly - must be an overactive imagination as I dont think those tests can be wrong.

IBS perhaps?

MissLily · 16/07/2010 13:14

Its not the least painful and it really feels like its in the womb area. Just been scaring myself as someone posted that Sainsburys tests are rubbish. Off to Boots.

Could it be trapped wind?

I got the exact same thing when I had the copper coil in! I cant count the amount of times I POAS!! Always negative but it felt so like baby movements. . . Weird!

MissLily · 16/07/2010 16:12

Oh thanks Lillysa, that makes me feel better, never had this before tho and had the coil for about 15 years all in all. Boots test neg as well! Will do another in a few days but there seem to be a lot of people who have had neg tests and turns out they were Pg.
