Hi all

Think I am about to sound a bit thick, but here goes......

Had my Mirena coil removed last Thursday, to TTC. Bled on the Friday, until yesterday. Should I take that as a proper period? Also if so, when should I be taking my temp each day, as in what time of day? Have one of the digital thermometers, for the DC's. Should I test my underarm or under my tongue?

Never really worried before, but really want this to work as it's hopefully our last DC!

Thanks

the recent bleed may just have been a result of having it taken out, i.e. maybe there was some abrasion?...
May take a few months before your cycle works itself out to a regonizable one, or you may get a regular cycle immediately - everyone is different.

For temperature reading.....the reading needs to be as accurate as possible.....use under the tongue only. Digital thermometers are good. You must take at the same time every day to be able to compare results accurately....and you MUST do this first thing in the morning BEFORE you get out of bed (moving about will raise your temp).
Also you need to have had at least 4hrs unbroken sleep...a restless night will give you a false high.
Try googling on this topic - you'll get lots of info....
I did this and used temps and ovulation sticks to create my 2 cherubs.
Good luck.
