hi, we're going to have another go at clomid after a 2 month break as was finding ttc became too pressurised. I'm trying to think more positive too, do you think this helps? We've been ttc for 3 years now and tbh i can't believe i'll get pregnant again (have 3 1/2 yr old dd) but I need to be more optimistic. dh finally had sperm tested and results good. Would love to know of others in same boat but other threads so long I get fazed by all I.ve missed!

I struggled to conceive 2nd time around. My cycle is very irregular so I knew this played apart. I had a scan to check for pcos but this didn't seem to be the reason. I began taking clomid in the February and nothing happened, no pregnancy and still no periods. I was given a higher dosage and eventually I did a pregnancy test at the end of the September (same year) and it was positive. I then went onto have twins!!! I recently got pregnant again unexpectedly but sadly miscarried at 10 weeks. This pregnancy was with no fertility drugs.
I don't want to raise your hopes up, but you've got pregnant before, you have every chance of getting pregnant again, just keep on trying.

thanks for these replies and clare458 hearing about your twins was very cheering! Though so sorry you had a miscarriage. I don't ovulate very often without clomid though must ov sometimes as dd was conceived naturally though after over 2 years.

mummyjo1 I can understand you wanting a break from clomid as I feel better after mine and also it makes me feel slightly sick which apparently can happen! You're right to cut down on caffeine as I.ve only just realised how much this can help (i read somewhere just 1 cup coffee can halve chances of conception??) Hope all goes well for you
