Has anyone heard back from the 2026 Wimbledon ballot

No and it was my first time entering.

Yes I heard a couple of months ago. It's the first time I've been successful and I couldn't believe it.

It will be my first trip to London in over 35 years - I've only been there twice in my life. So I'm just so looking forward to the whole experience, not just the tennis.

I hope you are successful next year if you aren't this year.

HI, can anyone recommend any hotels/places to stay near Wimbledon please? We’ve managed to get some tickets and are thinking of booking a hotel room but wanted something quite near to the place itself. Thank you.

Cannizzaro House or the Fox and Grapes. Most of Wimbledon probably booked out during the tournament though as soon as tickets are released.

All the very local places will have been booked months ago. Find something close to the District Line, and then you can easily travel to Southfields on the Tube, and it's a short walk from there. I usually stay in Earl's Court, for that reason.

There will probably be a further ballot early this year - they usually do 2 or 3 draws, depending on take up.
