Dance competition themes

If you/your child has danced competitively or have been to dance competitions, I wondered which have been your favourite themes performed that have told a story?

Anything film/folk tale/book related? Anything unique that the audience loved? I'm thinking cute, funny or even emotional character dances (solos, duets, groups etc.) in any style, tap, modern or ballet - you name it!

Purely out of curiosity as hoping my child will join a dance competition team when she's old enough (and interested!)

My DD's school dance group entered a couple of national competitions- they did v v well - ALL the other schools used 2 themes (or a mixture of these 2): 1) bullying 2) WW2

Her school did Alice in Wonderland - winning the regional finals and coming 4th in the Final
