I saw this raffle and bought tickets but wondered if it is genuine. It's for two converted chapels in Snowdonia and sounds great. But now I'm wondering if its all it seems. www.winadreamproperty.co.uk/roundcoyote30

The cost of prizes, advertising, any licences, staffing, expenses, etc etc is taken from the funds raised first.
Then what is left is divided usually 80/20%
On a £3 million draw the charity may only get £70k or other guaranteed amount.
It is run to make money for the provider. A large majority are not legal but it is your choice to enter. Give the money directly to the charity would be my advice.

Looking at the terms and conditions it breaks several laws re gaming.

If they don't make their money the prize changes.
The charity is promised 15%.
The promoter gets 15% plus their costs
The prize is not guaranteed if they do not make enough money.
If take take over the amount the charity gets 20% of any excess.
