Entering competitions

Not only have I never won an of the competitions but none of the tips I've entered or reviews I've done seem to appear anyhere. Am I doing something wrong?

Can't comment on the competitions, I have actually seemed to be quite lucky myself for a change...

I've never looked at the homepage really but they're never under "latest tips", some of which are quite old.

I have won twice - Barney concert, and name tags. But some times I can't think of a review asked for, and I rarely think of tips!

Sorry folks - I also won 2 (in the same week) a while back - a book and £50 of sprogbox vouchers. That was the same week I posted on a thread just like this moaning about never having won...

Getting free Barney tickets isn't winning IMO!

It's not the fact that I've not won that bothers me really it's the fact that I never know if I've actually entered because the tips/reviews don't seem to appear anywhere.

Don't worry your tips/ reviews will appear in due course (unless they are really bad or, in the case of reviews unless there aren't enough reviews of the thing you are reviewing to make it into the survey). It's just that a) we've got loads and loads of tips being sent in, so there's a long list to get through, (which is good by the way, so please don't stop sending them in) b) we don't update the surveys immediately a review comes in at the moment, so it may take a while to make it in. This hopefully will change soon, as and when Tech pulls his finger out .

Please be assured there is no systematic boycott afoot - we're not organised enough for that .

soupdragon, I'm sure your tips aren't lost. When pwhen I've posted tips for competitions, they can take months to appear (won't tell you how many tips I've posted, it would shock you !!!)

I'd been thinking the same soupdragon. Do our tips, competition entries etc not get through. I have never won a bean in my life. Boo hoo, is there a secret to winning comps?? Is it a case of you're either lucky or your not. I once walked out of a job and 6 days later their lottery syndicate wone the jackpot, no word of a lie. How gutted was I????

I won this week - my second win in 3 years of entering.

But guess who had bought "The Gruffalo's Child" on Friday as one of ds' birthday presents (4 this Friday)?! Never mind - it'll come in use as a present for some other lucky child.

And the White Company vouchers will be well used! (must remember not to throw out the catalogue sitting at home - which I was about to do, so as to resist the temptation!)

BTW - I've never seen any of my tips either and over the year I've posted quite few!
