A newbie who wins a competition may become a regular user, surely...

Thomcat · 22/07/2004 16:50

Thomcat · 22/07/2004 16:52

Ha haaa, actually just seem what she won, and I wanted that prize. Yeah who the hell are you Samantha, hand the prize over to me and Coddie!!!!!

lemonice · 22/07/2004 16:57

What about a competition where the mn who posts the most times in that week wins

Thomcat · 22/07/2004 17:02

We added up who posted the most once and I was VERY high on the list, I'mn ashamed and happy to announce!

Coddy wins, something small, for the person to start the most threads I reckon!

Yes, you have been deliberately blackballed. You are a social pariah

Chinchilla · 22/07/2004 20:19

Coddy - You win the wooden spoon for the most typos...

Rachel (mumsnet) · 23/07/2004 00:19

Call out to Samantha1! We have sent you an email regarding your win, but haven't heard from you. Because the premiere is Sunday, it's pretty tight and we need to start organising the distribution of your tickets. So could you please contact [email protected] by midday tomorrow, to claim your prize.

Thanks, Rachel, Justine and Carrie

tigermoth · 23/07/2004 09:40

lou33m you should change your name to luckylou!

cods - I have won mn comps sometimes over the 4 years I have been here, but I've entered lots more here and not won anything.

I've won a few small, local comps (the sort advertised in local newspapers or prize draws at local events). Never won a large national competition as advertised on a comp internet site. Once it gets on a comp site it's the kiss of death IMO. I used to enter a few if I had a spare 10 minutes or if the mumnset site was down! I assume so many people enter these comps that the odds of winning are really low.

Chandra · 23/07/2004 09:47

I got some baby samsonite luggage, really nice! but I was a regular already (a regular non competition winner IYKWIM)
