Barney competition - DVD?

I am sure part of the prize was the new Barney DVD, as well as the tickets.

Does anyone on the MN team know when this DVD will be coming?

Probably never, judging by recent threads!

I really don't want to sound like an ungrateful bitch, but I luckily won the JVC home entertainment system - it took about 10 weeks and many many e-mails with the PR company to finally get it delivered. Actually, what was delivered wasn't what the prize said it would be (no surround sound) but it's fab anyway, we feel really lucky and DH said "For God's sake we've got it now - don't complain"
There were meant to be some "Wilde" DVDs as part of the prize too, but I never got them. Didn't bother to complain, because I actually feel really sorry for Justine, Rachel & Carrie having to sort out all these PR company cock-ups
and I was already worn out by the whole chasing the JVC stuff process.

It IS really irritating though - spoils the excitement of having won a prize

MO2. I did see the thread on some Disney videos too.

Hopefully the Barney one will show up eventually. DD keeps asking - I wouldn't buy her one as I told her one was coming from the postman. Poor bloke - he is accosted each time she seems him. LOL

We've left a message with the Barney people so hopefully we'll get you your DVD soon! Mo2 we've also mailed re the "Wilde" DVDs - so fingers-crossed. We do find that PR companies are a bit tardy with prizes and it does take a bit of chasing. In general it's best to give them a couple of weeks and then let us know if you've not received your prize so we can get on the case. Please don't feel bad about nagging - they've promised the prize so they need to fulfil and we are more than happy to chase them up. The good news is that we're appointing a competitions manager shortly to keep on top of all this and hopefully to source more and even better prizes. More on that as soon as appointment is confirmed...

well, i got my buggy today. grooveystyle contacted me on tuesday via email, spoke on phone yesterday to see when i was about, and it arrived today.
hopefully the rest of you get your prizes soon.

Just heard back re the Barney dvds. Apparently will be with the PR company the week commencing june 14, so they will send on soon after that. Let us know if they don't appear.

have to say Keycamp were brill. Carrie/Justine/Rachael mailed me the link person at KC and he couldn't have been more helpful. Swapped emails with a few times and he was always very quick to reply, usually within the hour! Made booking through him (Imran) confirmation arrived a few days later, 7-10 days later the invoice arrived showing that the £800 had been debited to it as Comp Winner! Then tickets arrived about 4 weeks before departure. only hope the actual holiday goes as smoothly.

happy1. Have you contacted the MN team? We have had ours since weekend and it is has been watched to death already. Definitely worth chasing.
