I was a right wally, I thought I checked the list and didn't see my name.
Had a God awful night with DS last night and really couldn't face moving this morning.
The doorbell goes at 8.10 and DP comes up the stairs asking me if I've entered any competitions. I said I checked so I hadn't won anything and voila! Wine, wine , wine! Made my day so thank you very, very much MN!

6 lovely bottles to choose from -do we have to oppen them all on the wine tasing evening .

I have a feeling the 6th bottle to be tested next week is going to get rave reviews compared to the first due to a lot of pissed merry MN'ers

In fact I nearly didn't open the box as my mother was here and she is A Panicker and thought there might be something 'dodgy' about it

What a great way to start the day - a delivery of wine. It took a long time for it to sink in that I'd actually won it - I tried for a good 10 minutes to give the case back to the delivery driver as I was sure it had come to the wrong address.

For all those who've been posting about receiving their cases of wine, may I guide you in the direction of our new Wine section on Talk where we'll be hosting the tasting of said wines next week.

OTOH! What a fabulous treat to arrive home and find 6 bottles of wine on ya doorstep!

I arrived home to find the case of wine and had a panicky feeling wondering what I'd signed up for unintentionally. Was soooo pleased when I found my congratulatory letter. We've started on a white already and I'm in love!! Sooooo tasty.....and quite potent too so I'm now in love with the wine, Mumsnet, the postman who delivered it...heck, even the grumpy bloke down the road!! :) Looking forward to next Thursday....if there's anything left!!!

Like many of those commenting, this is the first time I have won anything. I was a bit suspicious till I checked out Mumsnet online and found all the euphoric emails to which I am adding my woohoo and thanks. Look forward to next Thursday and in the meantime am going to do a bit of tasting!!!! xxx

Woo hoo! I won 6 bottles of wine! Thanks very much Mumsnet - what a lovely surprise from the postie this morning. Caused a bit of confusion, as I'm pregnant and wondered who on earth would be sending me wine??! I won't be able to join in the tasting next week - but only a few weeks to go 'til baby's arrival when I can celebrate with a lovely glass (or bottle ) of vino!!x
