Anyone else find the adoration of this pompous hypocrite absolutely nuts?

He reportedly filmed so called wildlife documentaries in London Zoo.

His obsession with ‘global warming’ (which by the way that and global cooling has been occurring for the last 4 billion years mostly without any help from humans) pays no regard for the poorer in society who need cheaper energy to make ends meet .

And by the way how does he get round the world to film documentaries other than at London zoo?

By carbon neutral jets of course!!

Nothimg . I have never filmed so called wildlife documentaries in London zoo. I believe in honesty in every aspect of our lives. Sorry if that doesn’t fit with your values..

Okay .... By the way, you do realise that in most of those 4 billion years of warming and cooling, the planet was completely uninhabitable by humans, right? And that dramatic swings in global conditions started small and then became huge and unstoppable?
To change human behaviour, we need communicators to persuade us to make those changes. So even if you don't buy into the impending catastrophe narrative, I'm quite sure you can see that David, who does buy into it, is not being hypocritical to put his efforts into communicating that change is needed, even if it adds marginally to the problem in the short term. If no one collects the evidence to persuade us to change, we sure as hell aren't going to change spontaneously (especially with people like you out there who refuse to accept reality even when the evidence is clearly presented to you).

DA has used his platform to voice his significant concerns about the climate crisis - participating in the world as it is doesn’t mean that you can’t try to improve it.

Tell us what you have contributed to the protection of the environment or the world more generally. That will enable us to judge whether your criticisms of DA are reasonable.

I look at what DA has achieved and contributed, and by comparison to what I and most of my friends/family have done, he looks pretty impressive.

But perhaps you're different, and you've done something really special that dwarves Attenborough's contributions?
