Travelyst - and other tools for greener travel

(somewhat inspired by the long thread in AIBU this morning!)

I remember the launch of Travelyst, but haven't seen much about it since its launch. The website still exists and it does have stuff on its News section that shows it's still going and planning expansion

But I haven't seen it 'in the wild' - have any MNetters actually used it? Is it any good? Has it actually made a difference?

Or have you come across any other tools that help you find greener options (genuinely greener, not greenwashed)?
OK, I know the greenest option is not to travel far for leisure, and to take the train wherever possible. But if you do want/need to do differently, what's the best way to find the genuinely least bad?

It's really difficult and complex. I did a little mini project to look at travel to London for an event and then home for four of us. All the options were actually pretty similar.

I think that’s a reason why reliable tools who can do some of the crunching for you would be a very good thing

Theres been stuff in the news today about Travelyst growing as a company. But I’ve not really come across them in action (links, reviews or even people just mentioning them when talking about planning holidays of other travel)

Surely there has to be MNeyters who’ve used them?
