The rainforest

If the leaders of the world had anything about them the rainforest should be purchased for the people of the works, Brazil fairly compensated, then Trump's wall built around in for humans never to set foot there again.

Totally agree

Great. If only the ' leaders ' of the world cared about their own country or the world, more than clingìng to power and rolling in the trough.

I think the idea of "the rainforest" needs some examination.

It is far too simplistic to suggest that saving rainforests will somehow save the world.
I don't underestimate the importance of the rainforest but there are lots of regions of the planet which contain biodiversity and contribute Co2 absobtion.

Underwater seaweed forests, grassland, temperate forests are all important too.

Yes, of course, rainforest is a useful shorthand, but there are many, including destructively trawling the seabed, destructively using chemicals, and allowing agricultural run off.

Burning, anything, is wrong. Importing wood pellets from u.s.a to feed power stations , using wood burning stoves, patio heaters, candles, bbqs, burning rubbish, burning garden waste.

Interesting position. So how do Homo Sapien cook? Or don't we? A raw food diet?
You are using a device which has relied on chemical oxidation ( burning) to manufacture the materials to build your phone/tablet/laptop.
How can you be so hypocrytical?

I don't burn for fun and amusement, or to dispose of rubbish . I cook mainly with a small halogen oven, which uses minimum power, and a hob. Unnecessary fire causes two problems. Setting open land alight is one. The air pollution from wood burning is roughly equal to that of traffic.

Your power use here could be called as amusement. Much of your rubbish may end up being burnt or dumped in the sea. I am guessing you are child free?

It is not possible to exist without an impact.
