Cronovirus, Climate change and Trump

I’m not for one minute saying it’s not terrible and terrifying that so many people could face illness and in the worse case death if this becomes a pandemic.

I try to be optimistic in the face of things we really have very little control over.

One benefit of the Cronovirus scare is that this could be the end of Trump. A fall in the stock market and his lack of empathy, tact, health care refusal will impact his election hopes.

Equally Johnson and his cronies, who seem utterly bereft of empathy, social conscience and have fostered a massively underfunded NHS, will come across very badly.

We are facing catastrophic climate change, something Governments are reluctant to admit to and they seemingly won't and can't change their obsessions with economic growth.

Something majorly needs to shift and perhaps a collective threat which stalls the global economy, shuts down needless travel etc. could become the catalyst shock needed to start focussing on an alternative direction for humanity.

i literally think if lots of people died it would be better for the environment, also less air travel etc etc

however, it would be awful for then individuals affected

i can't get my head around all the panic for corona virus and the lack of care around climate change
