Yes the trouble is MN is so London based and comfortably middle class they will constantly shout down anyone they think spoils it all for them. Not a clue how most of the rest of us feel. Just like the MPs. Hope a few more find this.

Runs with open arms... bonjour!!
Welcome!!

I cannot bear the same old posters Dominating the Brexit threads... hopefully some more will make it over under cover.... whistling The Great Escape theme tune 😁😁.

I escaped too ... And breath. Good lord it is hell on here right now

ImnotthrowingawaymyShot · 27/03/2019 19:12

Welcome! Come to the Brexit arms of the resistance!

Hopefully they won't find us hereGrin

Thank you.

Most of the remained on this site are practically hysterical. It baffles me.

ImnotthrowingawaymyShot · 27/03/2019 19:17

I'm so nervous about the votes tonight.
I didn't like the mischievous look bercow shot people before stalking off to close , before the vote.

It's blatantly written all over him he is out to thwart Brexit and I fear he has more trick's up his sleeve.
I also wonder why erg took so long to capitulate and get behind Mays deal.

Surely , I think back it, get everyone mentally ready to leave...as in we're doing... then tweak the details.

What they've done instead with messing around is given remain fresh hope and impetus!!

OP posts:
ImnotthrowingawaymyShot · 27/03/2019 19:18

As in we're going, not doing.

OP posts:
nrpmum · 27/03/2019 19:19

I know, and my main concern is they'll revoke article 50 and every leaver will feel the politicians have pissed all over democracy.

ImnotthrowingawaymyShot · 27/03/2019 19:32

It's getting legally challenging.

One would think mogg et Al would be consulting the cream legal experts on this!

There was talk of shutting it down and recalling the house to get round the speaker. The speaker seems too know the trick's!

Would anyone like to join Friends of the Earth's action on

Saturday 30 March from 10:00 to 1.00

at

HSBC, 88 Muswell Hill Broadway, London N10 3RX (corner of Hillfield Park)

to combat HSBC, one of the biggest funders of climate breakdown.

We are disgusted that HSBC are HAPPY STILL BEING in COAL.

HSBC have responded somewhat to campaigners’ pressure, agreeing to stop funding new coal-fired power stations, except in 3 large Asian Countries. Our MP Catherine West will join us on 30 March to ask people to complete our postcard telling HSBC to stop funding coal.

HARINGEY DECLARES CLIMATE EMERGENCY!

On 18 March Haringey Council accepted our proposal to declare a climate emergency. The Council has undertaken to step up efforts to make the borough carbon neutral by 2030. We will closely monitor their plans and continue to push for greater urgency.

41 British councils have now declared a climate emergency, in effect promising to become carbon neutral, in most cases by 2030. They include Bristol, Cambridge, Liverpool, Manchester, Lambeth, Enfield and Lewisham. No doubts campaigners will get other councils to follow their example.

ImnotthrowingawaymyShot · 28/03/2019 11:36

OP posts:
nrpmum · 28/03/2019 11:40

ImnotthrowingawaymyShot · 28/03/2019 11:47

nrpmum · 28/03/2019 14:19

dearohdearohdear9 · 28/03/2019 14:34

me too nrpmum -sent from about as far south as it is possible to be

nrpmum · 29/03/2019 09:05

Reading the other threads on here makes me somewhat depressed. Reminds me of petulant children throwing their toys out of the pram because they can't get their own way.

dearohdearohdear9 · 29/03/2019 13:19

me too, lots of virtue signalling, (I think thats the term) . The worst of it is that most seem to use phrases from the media to make their point about staying in the eu. Few seem to be able to use their own words to describe their views. Im tired of the lack of respect shown to those who do not have the "stepford wives" view. The lack of funding for education over the past few decades seems to shine through..........

ImnotthrowingawaymyShot · 29/03/2019 17:51

Oh dear! What now!

I love debate but so many remainer posters have been stuck droning on and on for over 2 years about the same things. It's suspicious when so few literally can't accept even some of the EU weakenes.

YY to education or lack of it.
We need independent thinkers not compliant sheep.

Nerve wracking but exciting times.

OP posts:
ImnotthrowingawaymyShot · 29/03/2019 17:52

I'd say bullish over bearing adults who want a dictorship.

I think now is the time for some fight back...in terms of reminding everyone the problems with the EU!
