We live in Dorking, a lovely market town nestling at the foot of the Surrey Hills. It is surrounded by National Trust land and is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Our house is 2 bedroomed and has a nursery equipped for a 0-2 year old (if you brought a lilo a second child could also share the room). It is a 19th Century cottage tucked away in the middle of the small town. We are less than a minute from a kiddies play area, 10 minutes from a swimming pool. Just outside town there is a vineyard, the North Downs and Pilgrims Way, Bocketts Farm, and National Trust Polesden Lacey.
London and all it offers is a 50 minute direct train ride away (into Waterloo or Victoria). There are great 2-for-1 deals on London Zoo, the London Aquarium and so on at the moment.
We'd love to head south to Devon or Cornwall for an early summer break for 5-7 days between 28 May and 9 June 2010.
