My daughter and I have been in temporary accommodation since Feb, and finally provisionally offered a property!
I accepted and sent all documents over last Wednesday, the lady called back and said she had no concerns with affordability and that she’s now just waiting for a reference from the council (as they have technically been my landlord).
Does anyone have any idea what next steps are or when I should expect they will contact me again? Should I be concerned? I’ve contacted the council too thinking that’d speed things up. But I’m getting very anxious and just want to know that it’s definitely mine before getting my hopes so high after such a rough year.
