Changing property into my name

My father passed away in 2014 and I obtained probate and have been living in his flat ever since, I never changed over the property to my name officially (I know this should have been done a long time ago) I’m just really confused how do I do this as I’d like to finally get it sorted. It all confuses me. Any help and advice please? Does it matter that it’s been so long?

Don’t you need to complete TR1 form?

A Solicitor did it for us when my DD died, wouldn’t have thought the time taken to do it will be an issue, but yes, you should get the flat in your name, just to tie up legalities.
