I guess, when I think of house swapping, I think of being able to go and tour a new place, without the costs of hotel room. Plus, giving another family the chance to visit the prairies...
However, I see so many lavish places, for house swapping, with tons of bedrooms, large homes, etc.etc. There is no way I could even remotely keep up with that! I live in a small 2 bedroom, nothing fancy or special. Nor would I personally own a large place.
When I travel, I'm not fussy on where we sleep. It could even been a camper...just to keep the costs down, to sleep. After all I'm there to go around and see the sights of a new place, where? I don't really care!! lol
I'd be afraid that someone who expects a 4 star place just won't be happy! 
I know, as long as we had a clean place to sleep, I wouldn't care.
Would be fun though...and like someone said, to make new friends!!!!
