We have a 3 bed house within walkable distance to Manchester city centre. It's about 25min walk, or a 10min bus ride right into the centre.
Just a 20min walk to the Museum of Science and Industry which is fab for kids and also similar distance to Deansgate for lots of great shopping.
We have a 3.3yr old and an 18 month old. The bedrooms are small as it's a new build house (nice and warm as it's new build!), so the 3rd bedroom is more of a study, but there is a cot and a wardrode in it. The mid sized bedroom as a todder bed/single bed, and the main room has a double bed and fitted wardrobes and also an en-suite. Also seperate bathroom upstairs and a closet toilet downstairs.
Have a south facing conservatory which is lovely in the spring/summer. There is a big park nearby with a great childrens play area, just a 2min walk from the house.
Would love to do a house swap with a family living in another city or somewhere with good transport links as we don't have a car.
DH is a teacher, so will have to be school holiday times.
