Swap our home near York for somewhere on the seaside this summer?

We have a four bed detached house in a village about 35-40 mins drive from York in North Yorkshire. We would love to swap with someone who lives near the seaside for a week some time, preferably summer hols. We have a dog and 2 cats, which we would like to take with us if possible.

Sorry, obviously I meant we would like to take the dog with us, not the cats. We will find a cattery for them whilst we are away.

Sorry, I should also have added that we don't need four bedrooms, just two bedrooms for the holidays (grown up children have just moved out).

could you tell me a bit about York and places to visit. we live in Poole Dorset, a 10 min drive from Sandbanks and 25 mins from Bournemouth!

Hi did you find a swap in the end? If not would you consider a holiday in kent (westgate-on-sea) 2 minute walk from beach?
