I have Osteoarthritis in both knees, the pain is constant but I am very active with my job .
I struggle to get up from the floor some days.
I was referred to a physiotherapist gave me exercises to do . I already do plenty of exercise. swimming, bikes , horse riding. He just said I’m doing what they recommended. Just need to lose weight and get good sleep 🙄 I don’t sleep well but that’s another story. Has anyone tried stryde knee straps ?I keep seeing them advertised . If so are they any good ? Thanks

Really haven't heard good reviews about stryde knee straps as they are not much helpful. Still I haven't experienced using it so not sure about it but I guess you should focus more on what they suggested you about weight and getting good sleep as that would be helpful.

It sounds frustrating when you’re already so active and are still dealing with constant pain. I haven’t tried the Stryde straps, but I’d be cautious about spending a lot based on adverts alone. It might be worth asking your physio whether a knee support or brace could actually help in your particular case.

My mum has responded well to steroid injections, and my husband had a full knee replacement at 51, and has bounced back - he's always been a keen athlete, and was running again within a few months of the operation. He was lucky to be able to go private for the op though, so didn't have to wait. Physio was basically useless for both of them (well until it was post op for DH).
