Hi I have endometriosis and PCOS I’m wondering what things I could possibly get to help with my pain I’m also autistic so I apologise if I struggle to understand so if any help could be as simple as possible please that would be a great help thankyou so much 😊

Hi. The only thing that helped my endo was having the coil fitted.
My bleeding almost stopped and it was such a relief.

I have the marina coil already they’ve recommended the monthly injection to try and help as I’ve just been hospitalised because of it finally home but wondering if there’s any things I can buy to help at home maybe

It definitely depends on your symptoms (if you have more bowel related issues or bladder for example then you may need specific meds or treatment for that).

Do you have any other main disruptive symptoms other than pain, heavy bleeding etc, like nerve pain, fatigue, bowel symptoms, bladder that might need specific addressing as well?

Excision surgery is a key way of reducing pain and preventing lesions to continue growing in places where it can cause further problems e.g bladder or bowel. Assuming you've had a diagnostic laparoscopy - did you have excision with it?

Pain medication is helpful for many people it can be opioids (e.g Co-codamol or I've found tramadol very helpful) and NSAIDs (e.g Naproxen or mefenamic acid) or a mix of both. The mirena can take some months to settle in for people.

TENS machines can be helpful as well.

OP have you been to your GP ? They can prescribe stronger painkillers and refer to the pain team if needed . You can also ask to be referred back to the endo team for surgery .

My daughter has just been to a pain specialist and he also recommended EMDR for the pain.
