Migraine sufferers - how have you managed in the heat today?

Everytime, heatwaves like this trigger a migraine.
And everytime, I always vow I’m going to get through the day without inducing one.

Today - i ensured I was very well hydrated all day, cool clothes, sunglasses, hat, shade but by 18:00 I can feel a big one starting…and now nausea, thumping head and boiling.

I've had one off and on since Sunday despite my migracap, hydration, cold showers and Sumatriptan. It's horrible.

Preventative aspirin whenever I think there are risk factors helps for me. I don’t find that heat per se triggers them, although dehydration definitely does. I had an isotonic drink at lunchtime. I’m also taking a B vit and magnesium supplement now which seems to help.

@MaybeItWasMe
the isotonic drink is a good idea - I will try that next time
