has anyone had ongoing nerve damage that causes flare ups of burning pain
mine has been caused by multiple surgeries in a delicate area ( fistula) over the last 20 years..
it doesn’t bother me for months at a time but the flare ups are completely debilitating as I can’t sit down and have a constant intense burning pain that makes it hard to function
be good to hear other experiences and any resolutions

Yes, chronic nerve damage can cause burning pain flare-ups. Many people manage it with nerve pain medicines or pain management treatments.

@mumlong thank you, I have had a scan and the surgeries I’ve had over the years,in a rather delicate area, have left long term damage and chronic scarring internal and external.
this has been the worst flare up I’ve had and the pain makes me feel sick at its most severe. Leaves it hard to function
