Peanut butter

Just a random, lighthearted post.

I was awake most of the night. Drifted off about 5.30am. Woke up half an hour ago, asked Alexa what the time was and then had to ask if it was morning, evening and what day it was.

So, I've fed the dog and celebrated the new day with peanut butter on a slice of buttered bread. Oooooh, it was so good!

Just thought I'd share with fellow insomniacs and chronic pain, disabled folks! An hour of sleep feels like a lifetime.

I totally get that feeling. Some nights I barely sleep too, and even an hour can feel like a huge victory. Honestly, a simple thing like peanut butter on toast after a rough night somehow tastes ten times better. Small moments like that really do make the day start a bit nicer.
