Do you know why you're getting the pain?

Have you had bloods done - it could be as simple as low Vit D or something.
You might need some physio etc

Do you know the cause of the pain?

At age 54, this could be menopause related. I suddenly felt like I was 85. I am on HRT now and my joint paint is 95% gone. HRT is not natural though...

LamonicBibber1 · 17/02/2026 00:40

My HRT is natural. It is bio identical. It replaces natural female hormones. The old fashioned days of synthetic meds only are behind us! HRT definitely helped my joint pain but isn't a perfect cure. Weight lifting and walking etc helps. Vitamin d3 + K2 and b vitamin supplements,.cod liver oil, flaxseed etc.

I would ask for bloods to be checked re vit b12 and the like for a start from your GP.

I take high dose Rosehip and I feel it definitely helps. Have noticed if I get lazy with taking it the pain starts to flare up. I also take tumeric with added black pepper..I've taken the tumeric for years but when I added the Rosehip I really noticed a marked improvement...worth looking into it. Hope you get something to help.

HRT
Collagen powder (protein)

StormyLandCloud · 17/02/2026 06:48

I started with turmeric and cod liver oils. Then HRT which helped a little.

my story sadly continued though, I was later diagnosed with a joint condition and fibromyalgia as my pain is complex, ended up on biologics for my joint condition

Turmeric, omega-3 fish oil, or glucosamine may help with joint pain.
They are natural and commonly used for inflammation.
Because you have asthma, ask a doctor before taking any supplement.
Light exercise and warm compress can also help.
