Is this sciatica?

Woke up today with a really bloody painful left buttock and the pain goes down the back of my leg. Never had anything like this before. A quick Google suggests it could be sciatica. Does anyone have any tips on how to fix it as I have two boisterous labs that need lots of walks. Thank you so much in advance ☺️

Sounds like sciatica. I have had it for the last 9 months though its on the mend fingers crossed. It's a bastard. I'd suggest ibuprofen for the first week. Look up sciatica exercises on the internet- there are loads but you need to be gentle until the initial flare up passes. Nerve flossing is good.
I overdid it and made mine worse. I see an osteopath and thats been brilliant- self management didn't help.

Thank you so much. It's literally just come from nowhere.. it's bloody excruciating. I know a good osteopath so I'll make an appointment with him. Thanks again
