Duloxitine

what is better duloxitine or amitryptaline for nerve pain and sciatica with fewer side effects ? Any medics that can tell me which one has fewer side effects please

It’s very individual. I’m a nurse, I couldn’t tolerate amitryptiline as it completely knocked me out and my body didn’t adjust to it. Duloxetine made me incredibly nauseous. I settled for very low dose pregablin in the end. I know people who take different meds including the ones you mentioned and different people have v different tolerances.
i hope you find something that helps though. Chronic pain is so difficult.

Im on 60mg of duloxetine and have been for about 6 months now, they have helped with the chronic pain, dont make me tired, but did make me feel sick, so I take it at night rather than the morning. Please ask if you want to know anything else.

I couldn’t get on with amitryptline, it made me leak small amounts of urine unfortunately!

I take duloxetine and have absolutely zero issues with it.
