Can anyone identify with this?

Can anyone relate to these symptoms? I took an ab for a uti, which has cleared up left me with a raft of strange symptoms. In order of driving me mad: a tingling/burning gut that feels like it's the lining that is inflamed (does not feel like a normal stomach ache). This stretches from back of throat, to the oesophagus, and then to the whole of the gut. Brain fog - this is debilitating. Lack of hunger and thirst sensations. I am eating and drinking but do not 'feel' that I need to do this. Still have an appetite but no hunger as such. I am going to the loo normally so no C or D. Fatigue (probably because in pain). GP says 'points to IBS', which I have never had before. V bad breath that is coming from the gut. Some bloating. I think that I can understand everything else but the burning gut, brain fog and lack of hunger/thirst sensations are scary. Blood tests normal. Nothing makes it go up and down, e.g., no food or drink makes a difference. I am out of ideas as to what else to try. Has anyone had something like this before and how did you get rid? I am eating a v clean diet - yoghurts, drinking only water, a little meat and veg.

Sympathies OP, it's no fun. I can only tell you that, in the wake of antibiotics for a uti, I take lots of fermented foods and a (vile) live probiotic to restore the gut microbiome. I don't know if a disrupted one could cause the symptoms you mention, but there's no harm in trying.

Thanks. Under. Am eating probiotic foods by the bucketful. Don't take the probiotic pills as they don't do anything for me. I am overweight with a sedentary job so suspect that it's all related. Am walking daily, but its taking its time. Just wondering if anyone can recommend supplements? The constant burning in what feels like gut lining (don't have areas of pain, or pain that comes and goes) is freaking me out. Ovarian cancer? The blood test is normal for this.

Just to follow up, not trying to be alarmist with the reference to a gyno cancer, but was more trying to wonder whether I am getting fobbed off with the 'IBS' label?
