I like the Primark ones. Very cheap and haven’t failed me.

I have two chronic pain conditions and purchased this, it's so much better than a hot water bottle, no refilling, washable, actually comfortable against me and I can lay it under my knees. You can get cheaper ones on Amazon but I can't personally vouch for the quality. Cheap to run as well

My MIL had fibromyalgia and I got her one as well, she says it helps so much with her hip/back pain.

If you are set on a hot water bottle, Sainsbury's ones are good. My kids use them in the winter and we've never had issues with any of them

I've had this for MEcfs pain for 3 years ish. Use it every day for hours.

I have a cheap Fashy regular one with a good quality cotton cover which goes in the washing machine regularly. Has lasted ages.

I'd recommend more of a heating pad, rather than a bottle, they're usually mains run so don't need to be refilled etc

LittleGreenDragons · 21/04/2025 19:39

Are you sure you didn't buy a fake one? Otherwise contact Amazon and Bauer directly as it should still be under warranty. At the very least get your money back.

I've bought two rechargable ones from Dunelm, Carmen brand, but I can't see it listed there atm. Look on the Carmen website. The first one was bought three years ago, the second was last year after DD stole the first one off me 😠 I struggle with kettles so these are a life saver.

Why do you need to get up in the night to refill a regular bottle? I use a regular bottle most nights all year round, I have never had to refill it over night and with a thermal cover it's still a little warm in the morning.

Electric blanket
failing that I buy packs of 5 from Amazon and fill from the hot tap in my en-suite

Have you tried a microwave hottie?

I also have a heat pad and a heat cushion both from LIDL

Pain I awful - hear is the best for it.
