It took quite a while to stretch out. I get these a few times a month and it's getting to me now. I'm on naproxen for my osteoarthritis in my knee but helps my back to. What a great start to Christmas day. Luckily I have a quite Christmas this year just me and my adult DD.
Now going to be laid up most of the day due to my back 😞

What horrid timing!
Do you have a usual relief routine? Such as heat or physiotherapy exercises that would help loosen it up a bit?

Will your DD be able to take over most of the tasks of Christmas day and you can help out where you can?

I have a joint condition and both my knees and my shoulder have been horrendous this week, I'm at the maximum dose of my pain medication and have been using compression aids which at least enable me to walk properly but it still sucks the joy out of Christmas time a bit.

Hope your pain eases soon and you can still have a lovely Christmas day

I have heat pad and physio gave me stretching exercises now. Adult DD is autistic but will help a bit. Sorry to hear about your conditions and hope you feel better soon.
My knee is usually the worse culprit. Have osteoarthritis in that but had a steroid injection init and working wonders so far.

And same to you have a merry Xmas and have a lovely day too.

Those steroid injections are fabulous! Hydrocortisone if I remember correctly, I unfortunately can't anymore as my GP told me you're only allowed 3 of them. Ironically because it can damage the cartilage in the knee, yet the whole reason for having it is I don't have much cartilage, silly I know, I'm going to try to get another round in the new year, hopefully if I explain the irony to my GP they'll make an exception and let me have it.

Had three more back spasms today and really spoiled Xmas day. Have phoned 111 now as can't take much more. By back is so painful
