Is my coil rejecting?

I wrote a post the other day regarding the copper IUD. Sadly no response.

Can anyone enlighten me? And would this be a very obvious sign its rejecting.

I am already an endo sufferer, with a strong family history of IBD also!I wanted to avoid the extra hormones so went copper!,but in the last few months, typically after i had my coil fit. The abdominal pain has been breathtaking, so bad im either wanting to throw up or collapse.
Cramping is a common side effect but this pain is worse than childbirth!
Iv had some chest pains that have come on suddenly and a lower heart rate. Im not sure its all connected. Its unusual for me thats all.

I will add, i tried mirena before and I actually developed an infection right away which needed removal and antibiotics. Iv had my copper coil for 6months and the problems are slowly getting worse.

One last thing i have a retroverted uterus not sure that makes any difference.

Does anyone have any advice??

Honestly with chest pains (if they're still happening now), severe abdominal pain and a low heart rate I'd head to A&E - those aren't symptoms to mess with. Either way, I'd call 111 and at the very least make an urgent appointment with your GP. Sorry you're feeling so poorly, OP Flowers

I have the copper coil, my period pains are worse since I got it (had it about 9 months) but not to the extent that you are describing, and it definitely would not cause chest pains or lower your heart rate. It sounds like something else is going on, please go see a doctor.
